Canon ME20F-SH

The innovative ME20F-SH full-frame Full HD video camera delivers ultra low light performance and infrared capability at an unrivalled sensitivity which offers a mind-boggling ISO range from 800 (0dB) to over 4 million (+75dB), which allows filmmakers to shoot anything from daylight conditions right through to ‘starlight’ conditions at night.

Canon’s ME20F-SH Multi-Purpose Camera features a 2.2MP high sensitivity CMOS sensor, along with Canon’s DIGIC DV 4 image processor, enabling users to shoot crisp, clean, high definition, full-color video in extreme low light conditions. The camera’s versatile, rugged, modular design, combined with a 35mm full frame CMOS sensor with an equivalent sensitivity in excess of ISO 4,000,000, make it ideal for a wide variety of markets.

The 35mm full-frame CMOS image sensor was specifically developed to shoot Full-HD video in low light, by increasing the light-sensing surface area of each pixel on the sensor. Photo sites measuring 19 micrometers square allow for exceptional low light performance, with a minimum subject illumination of below 0.0005 (at maximum 75 dB gain).

The Camera was designed specifically with many mounting points along the top and bottom of the camera to allow the freedom for users to customise the rigging for almost any purpose from a minimal compact size to a fully rigged configuration.
